Why is it important to heal emotionally?
If we were holding onto something painful, no matter how much we liked it or even paid for it, we would not want it.
This is the same with emotions, no matter how justified we feel we are to hold on to them, if they are causing pain, then we must find a way to heal from this.
Why?
This is because we are governed by our thoughts which then create emotions and impact the quality of life we live.
Emotional healing allows to understand what happened to you, accept that it happened to you, become aware of how the incident affected you/your actions and, most importantly, learn the lesson and let go of the emotions. This embrace allows you the power to shift any negative effects to positive outcomes.
